Bediüzzaman Symposium

As the ATIC family, we are filled with gratitude and excitement to have hosted a first-of-its-kind event in Canada: a youth symposium dedicated to the life and legacy of Bediüzzaman Said Nursi. This meaningful program was made possible through the generous hosting by Anatolian Turkish Islamic Center Calgary.

The symposium focused on Bediüzzaman’s journey from his birth to his passing, exploring his deep commitment to faith, knowledge, and service. Through well-prepared presentations, informative talks, and detailed models, the youth offered attendees a rich and inspiring look into his extraordinary life.

Beyond sharing information, the symposium demonstrated how eager and capable today’s youth are in learning from the lives of great historical figures and drawing meaningful lessons for their own paths.

The event concluded with a fun and educational quiz, allowing participants to test and reinforce what they had learned throughout the day in an engaging and memorable way.

We sincerely thank the participants, our dedicated youth team, and all ATIC volunteers who contributed to this special gathering. May these efforts be accepted and continued for generations to come.
