Strengthening Foundations: Enhancing Governance and Financial Management at ATIC

The Anatolian Turkish Islamic Center (ATIC) is proud to announce the launch of our newest initiative, Strengthening Foundations: Governance and Financial Management Enhancement for ATIC. This transformative project is made possible through the generous support of the Calgary Foundation’s Strategic Opportunity Grants.

At ATIC, we are committed to fostering transparency, accountability, and operational excellence as we serve Calgary’s diverse and multicultural community. This initiative will enable us to:

Conduct a comprehensive audit and assurance review with the guidance of PKF Antares CPA, ensuring our financial systems are robust and aligned with best practices.
Provide targeted training for our treasurer, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to oversee increasingly complex financial operations.
By strengthening our governance structures and financial management capabilities, ATIC will be better prepared to manage larger grants, execute more complex projects, and expand services that benefit our community.
