A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful partners β IDI Calgary / BURC Intercultural Center, Emmanuel Community Church, and the Calgary Alliance for the Common Good β and to our dedicated volunteers whose hard work and generosity made each gathering possible.
Through the Interfaith Dialogue & Youth Engagement for Eliminating Extremism initiative, we brought together people of all faiths and backgrounds to promote understanding, inclusion, and peace in our community.
πΈ August 21 β Interfaith Picnic (Dalhousie Community Centre)
A joyful afternoon uniting Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and other community members for food, friendship, and open dialogue.
πΈ September 25 β Youth & Adult Gathering (ATIC Cultural Centre)
Youth and adults joined for meaningful discussions, dialogue circles, and collaborative games β nurturing empathy and shared values.
πΈ October 25 β Interfaith Panel & Dialogue Dinner (Dalhousie Community Centre)
An inspiring evening with Emre Γelik (Executive Director, Peace Islands Institute, New York), Laura Holck (Pastor, Emmanuel Community Church, Calgary), and Sarah Arthurs (Executive Director, Calgary Interfaith Council).
Speakers and participants shared thoughtful insights on faith, community, and cooperation across traditions.
